As a consequence of the financial crisis many people experience difficulties paying their mortgage. Changing facades into huge ads might be a solution. In exchange for turning your house into a massive billboard, Adzookie pays your monthly mortgage expenses. Regular houses will get an entire paint job, and for the time the billboards are shown, home-owners get their entire monthly mortgage rate paid for by the company.

Yeah, all of that stuff about helping out people being foreclosed upon is just a gimmick. This is a simple business transaction. Really, it's capitalizing on the public realm (the facade of a home is viewed by anyone around it) for the private gain of the individual homeowner and advertiser. If this takes off, the inevitable reaction will be stricter zoning codes and HOA covenants regulating all of our paint choices.
